   * EDAC registration: they seem to have fixed the remaining bugs, but I'm waiting for confirmation.  I sent the production certificates for them to install, and will proceed when they are ready. They currently have only 3 packages exposed, so I will ask about that.  At the very least, we should hold off announcement before there are more 'books on the shelves'.
   * CN consistency impl (tidy): added review field to merge_result, to allow us to annotate passing jobs that we might need to review.
   * d1_libclient_java planning: talked with Roger to understand his Replication tester.  there doesn't seem to be a direct overlap, and in fact, it seems to be an example of what I hope to be able to allow in he java code:  a tester that can encapsulate multiple actors (CN and MN, in this case)

   * CN Consistency impl (tidy): trouble-shot NPEs (with Robert), minor refactor to account for case when no CN systemmetadata (edge case)
   * d1_libclient_java planning: exploring refactor options to allow easier testing (alternative MN and CNs), how to reduce dependency on (de-couple from) the specific HttpClient connection management.

   * Finished draft of MN Deployment Tickets template. Will send to Laura. Cycling back to the ticket creator to make sure that all the info in the template is correctly included in the template.

     * VM snapshot rules at orc updated
       * removed indexer scheduled snapshots (unnecessary as long as we have a good install snapshot)
       * added monthly scheduled snapshot rule for test indexer
     * removed several old snapshots
     * ran some pre-v6 snapshots in case of disaster during upgrade process
     * Splunk indexer was running Ubuntu 10.04, upgraded to 12.04, checked settings and functionality of OS/splunk
   * built Splunk forwarding rules back into cn-dev-orc-1
